The area of Mottola and Palagianello, closest cities to the Hotel Relais, is full of examples of rock civilization with important and very interesting places like the rock churches of Mottola and Casalrotto where, among others, guests can visit St. Nicholas Church. The canyon of Palagianello includes traces of the earliest human settlements dating back to the Paleolithic era with a beautifully preserved site; you can also visit the canyon crossed by theme routes.
